Ledger & Leaf
A packaging concept for a tea brand that labels every blend like an entry in a field notebook.
Concept project. Ledger & Leaf is a fictional brand created by Baremark Studios. This is not client work.
The challenge
Tea packaging tends toward botanical illustration and gold foil. We wanted a range that felt precise and collectable, closer to stationery than to a gift box.
The approach
Each tin is treated as a notebook entry, with origin, harvest and brewing notes set in a strict typographic grid.
A halftone leaf pattern changes density by strength, so the range reads as a scale from light to bold on the shelf.
Outcome
This is a self-initiated concept, so there are no client results to report.
